S9 E3 • Day 002 Phobias, challenges and the quest for luxury budget

Early to bed, early to rise, makes the man healthy, wealthy and wise. Arvind Vegda is sacrificing his health, and wisdom for the sanity of the other housemates. Realising that his loud snores are disturbing the housemates’ peaceful sleep, he makes the decision of staying up all night to ensure that the rest of the house gets a good night’s sleep. Going to bed only after everyone is sound asleep, Arvind’s generous sacrifice got the empathy of the housemates. Making arrangements to ensure that he sleeps well, the housemates mutually agree that they will take turns to sleep next to his bed. As the clock strikes 8, the housemates are woken up to ‘Bachke Tu Rehna’ indicating that the days ahead are going to be tough from hereon. The housemates are seen discussing about delegation of work when the topic of Digangana and Roopal being inactive crops up. Digangana and Roopal take this comment to heart and go on a cleaning spree. The two are seen scrubbing each and every corner of the washroom and discussing how they are feeling left out while others are having a good time. Adding fuel to the fire, Ankit ends up taunting Roopal indirectly while speaking to Digangana. Roopal choses to avoid Ankit’s comments and continues with her job. Later, Bigg Boss announces the very first budget task of the season that revolves around phobias where one pair elected by Bigg Boss has to challenge another pair to perform the task. The first jodi to take the hit are Roopal and Digangana. Challenged by Prince and Rochelle, Roopal and Digangana face Omphalophobia (fear of belly buttons). The next couple to be challenged by Keith and Mandana are Ankit and Arvind who brave Globophobia (fear of balloons). The third phobia is Obesophobia (fear of becoming fat) and soldiers Yuvika and Vikas marched into the den after being challenged by Aman and Kishwer. Refusing to conquer Peladophobia (fear of becoming bald), Suyyash comes out of the activity room disheartened after Rimi refuses to take up the task. When Bigg Boss gives the rest of the housemates an opportunity of performing the task, there is nobody willing to jump in and save the day! Meanwhile, the four lovebirds of the house are revealing their love story to the inmates of the house. Suyyash and Kishwer announce that they have plans of getting hitched after their Bigg Boss stint. Comparatively new in the field of love, Rochelle and Keith also are seen recounting their love saga. Later in the day, Vikas and Yuvika are seen discussing about the household chores and how everyone is pin pointing Yuvika for her less participation. Vikas gets protective and tells Yuvika that he is on the brink of losing his cool and would not think twice before giving it back to the housemates. Keith and Mandana also join in the conversation but Vikas refuses to divulge any details. Rochelle is seen giving Keith a pedicure while Keith gives Mandana a relaxing massage on her back. Rochelle tells Keith that how he would not have gotten pampered had she not been in the house. Further, Mandana also receives a back massage from Prince and she announces how she loves “this Double Trouble”. Seen spending quality time near the pool together, Mandana and Keith are in a philosophical mood while the rest of the housemates are indoors. As the day comes to an end and lights go off, Arvind and Ankit decide to put an end to the snores fiasco and sleep on the living room couches hoping that everyone will now get a peaceful sleep.

S9 E4 • Day 003 Phobia makes life difficult!

The Navratri fervour is hitting the Bigg Boss hard and Arvind Vegda is only promoting his excitement surrounding his favourite festival. Smelling the coffee and waking up to a medley of songs Tattad Tattad and Bhai Bhai, Arvind is having Yuvika, Ankit and Prince on their feet playing garba to the wake-up call song. Further in the day, Prince is seen taking his game with Yuvika forward full throttle. Expressing to Yuvika how he gets negative vibes from Aman, Kishwer and Suyyash, Prince opens up to all in the house about his feelings for Yuvika. Taking a stand for Yuvika when she is getting brickbats for being klutzy with the paranthas, Prince Charming multi-tasks by also being her Knight in Shining Armour! On the other hand, Mandana’s mood is beginning to create quite a ruckus inside the house. In the morning, she is seen telling partner Keith how his girlfriend Rochelle needs to take a chill pill and that she is not here to break them up! She is also seen fuming at Aman when he is playfully stopping her from punching him. The phobia task continues, gathering momentum, even as Bigg Boss is upping the ante and announcing that the luxury budget will be delegated to the pair who wins the challenge. In a surprise turn of events boyfriend Suyyash along with Rimi is seen challenging girlfriend Kishwer and her partner Aman to the Melophobia(the fear of music) task. Playing the mouth organ inside a dead fish’s mouth, Kishwer and Aman are demonstrating how music can indeed be scary! Featuring in the hit list of the house, Kishwer and Aman are once again being challenged by Vikas and Yuvika for the Trichophobia(the fear of hair) task. Donning a shampooed hair mask on their face for a total of five minutes, the duo succeeds in completing this task too! A double whammy for the rest of the house – it is looking like double trouble is just sneakily hiding around a corner. The next challenge which is surrounding the fear of needles or Trypanophobia is given to Suyyash and Rimi by Roopal and Digangana. Realising that this challenge would require them to make permanent tattoos of ‘Bigg Boss’, Suyyash requests Bigg Boss to let them know the size of the tattoos. Without any clear indication of the size, Rimi refuses to have the tattoo made. Upon understanding that the size of the tattoo is too big for their comfort, Suyyash throws a hissy fit saying that the font and size is not acceptable to them. Citing unfair treatment upon not getting an answer from Bigg Boss, Suyyash’s temper levels quickly escalate. Raising the white flag, when the duo comes back into the living area, Mandana is seen taunting Suyyash about his comment against her. Breaking down and crying, Mandana creates quite a ruckus while Suyyash apologises to her and is even crooning a song to make her feel better! On the other hand, Rochelle is feeling quite disappointed that their jodi was not challenged for any task and hence, did not get any opportunity. Immediately jumping into action, partner Prince is seen telling her that the rest of the house is feeling threatened by them. Later in the day, Roopal is seen speaking about how her break-up with Ankit affected her, Roopal is making it quite known in the house that she has now turned over a new leaf. While she used to be serious and reserved initially, she is now a self-proclaimed fun and bubbly girl! Just before lights go out, Mandana is seen making quite a scene of having to sleep anywhere within a kilometre’s radius near Vikas and Arvind. However, Mandana’s stubborn attitude does not help her case. In a funny turn of events, Kishwer is seen imitating Mandana while narrating her selfish attitude to others as they call it a day.

S9 E5 • Day 004 Real life jodis face the brunt of Double Trouble!

Recapping the night’s episode, the inmates are trying to find some relief from Arvind and Vikas’s snores by sleeping next to them in turns. During this conversation, Mandana is adamant that she will not move her bed regardless of who is snoring and who is not. Adding that she is not a part of this discussion, she says that the other housemates can plan around this. Realising that the cause and effect relationship would put him and his partner in a lose-lose situation, Keith is taking Mandana aside to have a private word with her. Giving her logic behind why they should adjust, Keith tells her that Yuvika has had sleepless nights too and has not said a word against anyone. Convinced, Mandana tells Yuvika that she is now willing to adjust because she thinks Yuvika is a sweet girl. But trouble strikes Mandana and Keith’s partnership once again when Mandana refuses to exchange beds with Keith while Rochelle wants to sleep next to Keith. Mandana throws a fit and uses a condescending tone while speaking to Rochelle. All hell breaks loose when Rochelle losses her cool and gives it back to Mandana stating that she has all the right in the world to question her about her boyfriend. The situation further intensifies and turns into an ugly catfight between Mandana and Rochelle while Keith remains unaffected. Following a yelling match between Rochelle and Mandana, Rochelle breaks down and is seen sobbing in her boyfriend’s arms. Refusing to let go of him, Rochelle tells everyone that she needs some time alone with Keith to get over the situation. Setting the tone of the day, Bigg Boss Nau inmates are woken up to the song Kisme Kitna Hai Dum. Little do they know at this point that the day ahead would test all their patience levels in a way it never had before. Observing that her partner Aman can do a bunk when it comes to work, Kishwer playfully jokes around about how Aman smartly avoids doing the household chores. While on one hand this joke has a hidden message of seriousness involved, Rochelle and Prince are sorting out their miscommunication. Explaining their problem to Keith in a conversation, Prince tells him that the problem is now resolved and that the four of them must always display cohesiveness. At this point, Rochelle also taunts Keith about having to break the rules of the house when he sits near the washroom being occupied by Mandana. Unanimously choosing Vikas and Yuvika to compete against Kishwer and Aman for the captaincy task, the housemates are told to distract the two jodis during the task. Bigg Boss announces that the captaincy task would require the two jodis to perform yoga and the first jodi to break the position would lose. During round one of the task, Kishwer breaks down due to Aman putting too much pressure on her weak arm. Will Kishwer give up the opportunity to rule the house? Boyfriend Suyyash gets upset with Aman for bothering Kishwer during the task. Already annoyed by the fact that Kishwer gets easily influenced by Aman, Suyyash is making it clear to Rimi that he wants to spend more time with his girlfriend. Later in the day, the luxury budget task has a blindfolded Prince aping a dog and Rochelle leading him across an obstacle course up to the necessary bones with names of items imprinted. Hurt that Prince impulsively questions her strategy, Keith consoles Rochelle when she cries about having let her housemates down. Playing the mentor for all, Keith gives captaincy advice saying that the captains of the house must make the duo feel better. Not able to stabilise his own partnership, Keith gets into a war of words with Mandana when she tells him that she also has to deal with his girlfriend and her needs. Later seen sorting it out, Keith and Mandana reach a consensus and call it a day.

S9 E6 • Day 005 Guess who's up for exchange on Bigg Boss Double Trouble!

After the drama which brought the house down yesterday, the housemates are ensuring they spend quality time with each other during the day. During a conversation with the housemates, Prince reveals a peevish prank he played as a kid. As a ritual in the pre-monsoon season when Prince was setting fire to the dried up leaves, he saw that a long-haired woman was drying her hair and his evil mind lit her Rapunzel-like hair on fire. Laughing out loud at his little prank, the housemates are surprised at how Prince is wired. Bigg Boss proves that all good things comes to those who wait when he announces that on the account of being the best performer jodi and winning the captaincy task, Kishwer-Aman and Vikas–Yuvika will receive their bags back. Happy to receive his clothes back after a week, an overjoyed Vikas immediately changed into his own clothes. Feeling bad for her partner, Rochelle requests Bigg Boss to return Prince’s clothes since his performance during the luxury budget task was par excellence. The house is gradually turning into Yuvika’s pet peeve. Telling her housemates that the game has begun to get to her, she declares that she is missing her home and wants to go back. Further in the episode, we see how the contestants without bags are getting accustomed to living out of their partner’s bags. Roopal who especially requested for partner Digangana’s clothes back is having a heart to heart girl talk with Digangana about her past. She reveals that while she cannot trust ex-boyfriend Ankit anymore, she definitely still has a soft corner for him. This and other things – like the lack of caffeine in the house – are seriously testing Roopal’s patience and she is seen requesting Bigg Boss to give her some coffee – please! Gathering momentum, the Garba bug goes viral in the house when dancers enter the house to celebrate the festival and introduce the Snapdeal task. With a limited amount of time, the housemates are required to shop for necessary and required items during this task. Smartly strategizing their time, the housemates finally receive a refrigerator and a microwave. On yet another happy note, Bigg Boss, feeling generous, throws an offer at the housemates that they cannot refuse. Receiving the golden opportunity to make an appeal to the captain jodi Vikas and Yuvika to exchange their partners with a preferred partner, contestants are seen having a closed-room conversation with the captain jodi about their innermost thoughts. During this period, contestants roam around freely without being tied to their respective partners. Jokingly, Rimi announces that for the first time she feels happy looking at Suyyash because he is not her partner for the moment. The captains realise that underdog Prince is indeed in demand when most housemates demand to exchange their partner with Prince. Particular about cleanliness, Mandana complains to the captain Jodi about Arvind and Ankit not having made the dining area spic and span. Before they hit the bed, Suyyash finally opens up to girlfriend Kishwer about her getting influenced by her partner Aman. Kishwer replies saying that Aman is also getting on her nerves but she is trying to remain calm.

S9 E7 • Weekend Ka Waar

Isolations, fights and politics is one thing inside the Bigg Boss house, but then there is Love ka angle too that changes the whole game. While a few last, some also fail after a couple of touchy moments. Here, we already have two couples in the house, Kishwer Merchantt-Suyyash Rai and Rochelle Maria Rao-Keith Sequeira. Though they have been paired with different contestants, we do see brief moments of love flying coz of them. However, it now seems that a new couple is set to make a debut on the show soon. We all know that Prince Narula has a soft corner for Yuvika Chaudhary and he has revealed his feelings for her too. The Captain of the Bigg Boss 9 house has not given the green signal to Prince, but she is quite smitten too as she indulges in long conversations with the hunk. But the latest gossip will make your eyes pop out. No, they haven't become a couple but the duo are set to go on a date tonight after Alia Bhatt gives a stunning gift to Prince. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be on Bigg Boss 9 tonight to promote their upcoming film, Shaandaar. So the Shaandaar duo will enter the house, meet the contestants and also give out special gifts. The biggest gift will be to Prince Narula. Alia is fond of Prince and she will give him an opportunity to take a co-contestant on a date tonight. The venue will be the Sky Lounge which is a part of the Bigg Boss house. Will this change Yuvika and Prince's equation? If they become a couple, will they survive the test of time like Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna? Or will they go separate way post the show like Tanishaa Mukherjee and Armaan Kohli?

S9 E8 • Weekend Ka Waar

Welcoming his Prem Ratan Dhan Payo co-star Sonam Kapoor, superstar Salman Khan kick-started the Sunday episode. Elated to have Sonam on Bigg Boss Nau, Salman makes a grand entry with the lady by shaking a leg with her on the title track - Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The duo then speak about their experience of shooting together for the film in Rajasthan and how Sonam had to battle swine flu. To Sonam’s surprise, Salman went on to say that Sonam sings that title song quite melodiously while she sings her favorite line from the song. Further Salman takes Sonam inside the house through ME TV to interact with the housemates. Being influenced strongly by Mandana’s accent, Salman Khan makes a grammatical error while interacting with Sonam Kapoor and blames the Iranian lass for his folly. When Salman asks Aman Verma who he believes will be eliminated from the house, Aman says he would not be surprised if Arvind-Ankit or Digangana-Roopal were evicted. Adding further, he says that it would be shocking if Vikas and Yuvika got eliminated! Playing a fun guessing game with the housemates, Salman Khan shows a volley of candid pictures of the inmates and asks them to guess what the person might be thinking at that moment. Showing them four pictures – Keith giving Mandana a massage while enjoying a pedicure from girlfriend Rochelle, Rochelle giving an almost cock-eyed expression, Rimi staring into nothingness, Ankit’s funny body language while talking and Digangana looking at her Rapunzel-like hair – Salman Khan enjoys getting the inmates’ perspective while leaving them in spits. Further, we also see Salman Khan playing an intense compatibility test with the inmates. Testing the compatibility of the contestants, Salman Khan has each pair write answers to his questions on 2 different white boards facing away from each other. During the Snapdeal call of the week, Keith is asked why he never took a stand for Rochelle when Mandana said that his girlfriend is not the brightest ray of sunshine in the house. Defending herself, Rochelle says that her emotions are way stronger than any plotting or planning anyone wants to do in the house. With the first contestant getting eliminated from the house tonight, the anticipation in the house is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Whose journey in the house will be the most short-lived one?

S9 E9 • Day 008 The Game starts now!

Upset that ex-boyfriend Ankit Gera got evicted, Roopal Tyagi has an emotional outburst when Ankit bids goodbye to the Bigg Boss house. Guilty about nominating him for eviction, Roopal’s tears are being pacified by the housemates. While Digangana, Suyyash, Kishwer and Prince are telling Roopal that she can now be friends with Ankit outside the house, Roopal is unsure if they will even talk outside. Looking at Roopal’s condition, even Digangana and Kishwer cannot help themselves but shed a tear or two. Seeing that her emotions are playing havoc with her, Rochelle and Keith also try to make the damsel in distress feel better. On the other hand, Prince, Vikas and Yuvika feel bad for Arvind who is missing Ankit badly. They feel that Arvind is on the show to really live life and has a lot of dreams pinned on this show. Caught in a private conversation and comparing themselves to Suyyash and Kishwer, Keith and Rochelle speak about how they do not want anyone else to interfere in their issues. They say that if there ever is a problem, they will solve it then and there. Adding on, Rochelle says that her equation with Mandana has become better and they now understand each other well. Worried that her partnership with Rimi will have her evicted, Rochelle opens up to boyfriend Keith about her concern. Pacifying her, Keith says being nominated does not necessarily imply that she will be evicted and advices her to hold strong. Not wanting to call it a night, Roopal and Digangana discuss the next day’s nominations with each other after lights go out. According to them, Prince is playing a game and he cannot be trusted. On the flipside, they believe strongly that Aman is a really good guy who has been misjudged. Mandana, Keith and Rochelle are discussing how the Snapdeal call revolved around the trio and why everyone wants to make a big deal out of Mandana-Keith’s bond. Stating that she would not even care if Keith and Mandana are alone in the pool together, Rochelle reinstates her security. When Aman joins the conversation, the discussion takes a turn towards how the ‘Punjabi boys’ are playing a game. Upset that Salman Khan called him an ‘angry, young man’, Suyyash opens up to Digangana about his concern of being projected in the wrong way. Discussing how the only Bollywood face in the house Rimi Sen is in the house for a reason, Suyyash adds that there was a reason why Shahid Kapoor and Salman Khan were telling Rimi to be herself. Observing that Rochelle suddenly changed her opinion about Rimi being a weak contender when she got paired with her, Suyyash says that he does not believe Rochelle is genuine. During the nominations, Bigg Boss throws another googly at the housemates by announcing that the nominated pairs have to decide which one of the pair would finally get nominated. While a few contestants willingly sacrificed their safety, a few were seen at loggerheads with each other. When Bigg Boss gives the contestants a chance to reclaim their lost bags, excitement becomes a prominent emotion. Calling it the 'Nilami Task', Bigg Boss tells them that the four contestants without their bags (Keith, Suyyash, Prince and Digangana) are required to bid for their bags. The minimum bid starts at Rs. 3 lakh and the total sum of the bids would get deducted from the total prize money. Not understanding the task well, Suyyash, Prince and Digangana think that the highest bidder would get their bags back. They go ahead and bid for their bags, putting a heavy price against their bags. On the other hand, Keith opts out of the opportunity by writing a big fat zero on the board, understanding that the prize money is important for all contestants. While Suyyash, Prince and Digangana receive their bags, Keith's intelligence gets him everyone's empathy but not his bags. All hell breaks loose when the housemates realise that the prize money now stands at Rs. 39,66,667! When Kishwer hyperventilates about the money getting deducted, a peace-loving Roopal bluntly tells her to stop trying to get footage by fighting and raising her voice. This irks Kishwer who asks her if she is trying to make a point just because Salman told her she is coming across as silent. Ouch! As an aftermath, Mandana surprisingly calms the situation by saying that Bigg Boss is a mind-game and the contestants should be more prepared the next time. Roopal believes that Prince and Suyyash just pretended to be dumb during the Nilami task. In reality, they just wanted their bags back. What twist will tonight’s nominations bring?

S9 E10 • Day 009 Is this team spirit?

As the contestants wake up to the famous Mitwa from the patriotism instilling movie Lagaan, the theme for the day is unknowingly set. The first conversation in the house revolves around heartbeats almost stopping when Prince declares that he would reclaim his bags for Rs. 30 Lakhs. Staying true to the theme of the song, Bigg Boss announces the Lagaan task. Appointing Aman and Kishwer as the zamindaars and Arvind Vegda as the supervisor of the task, the rest of the housemates are given the role of workers. All corners of the house barring the garden area are cordoned to the workers and zamindaars are given the duty of cutting tax every time a ‘worker’ contestant wishes to visit any of the obstructed areas. As per the task, the workers are required to ground flour in pairs and sell a packet full of flour to the zamindaars for a negotiable price. The winner is to be declared depending on which team has the most number of coins. The zamindaars are against the workers and can manipulate the ‘tax rate’ according to their whims and fancies. Realising that the task is in favour of the zamindaars, the worker contestants immediately put a strategy behind their game. The task sends the whole house into frenzy and changes equations across the house, creating rifts between partners and other housemates alike. While problems between Mandana and Keith surface in front of all housemates, new difficulties arise between Rochelle and Vikas. As a result of Vikas and Mandana are also seen at loggerheads for quite a few reasons. Rochelle and Mandana team up and claim that Vikas has a strong male ego while his partner Yuvika also bears the brunt of dehydration and faints. Later, Rochelle is seen telling Keith how she also wants to become the captain of the house but Rimi is going to be the antagonist in fulfilling her desire. Announcing that the housemates are breaking rules in the house, Bigg Boss pulls up captain jodi ‘Yuvikas’ for the housemates speaking English. Following this, Vikas gets angry with Digangana for not wearing her mike. While the build up towards havoc begins with Mandana-Keith picking bones with each other about having to cooperate with the others’ demands, real life couple Suyyash and Kishwer also break into a fight when worker contestant Suyyash tries to trick Kishwer into giving them the coins. A ripple effect of the task has all housemates hungry, tired, sleepy and unreasonable. Vikas and Rochelle also get into a fight when Vikas claims Rochelle ate food before all contestants. Rochelle’s unhappiness about being paired with escapist Rimi Sen also comes to light when she breaks down about genuinely wanting to perform. Will the team break the spirit or will the spirit break the team?

S9 E11 • Day 010 Zamindaars v/s Workers

At wee hour when the entire house is asleep, Suyyash and Prince are seen toiling at the Lagaan task to earn few extra brownie points. As people wake up to ‘Chakkar Ghumiyo’ they are dreading the thought of churning flour under the scorching sun. Meanwhile, determined at dutifully meting out his responsibility, Arvind tries to keep a watch but falls asleep on the park bench. Rimi declares that she wants to give up because she has lost the will power to push herself through the task while others are in agreement with her. Tired by the arduous Lagaan task, the contestants are coming up with innovative techniques to win the task and end their ordeal. Rochelle and Mandana are trying hard to sustenance and continue with the task. At the same time, they also discuss how Yuvika is wasting too much time while making paranthas. Bigg Boss has a conversation with Keith about their performance after which Keith comes up with an idea of stealing coins from the pot. While everyone is contemplating this thought, Suyyash decides to opt out as he cannot betray his zamindaar girlfriend Kishwer. Taking this thought forward, Mandana and Keith let go off all inhibitions and steal the coins. Claiming that they are helpless and ‘fugly’, Mandana is chanting the slogan ‘Zamindaar Murdabad, Fugly Log Zindabad’. She is also seen dancing with joy at the thought of winning against the zamindaars… or is it just the thought of seeing Kishwer in distress? At the same time, other contestants are guilty about stealing the coins from zamindaars as their conscience begins to prick them. As a team, the housemates arrive at a consensus of returning the coins to the zamindaars and also apologizing them. Mandana is evidently upset with this decision and insists on counting all the coins before returning them. Furthermore, the conversation takes a steep route and turns into a heated argument between Mandana and the other housemates. Furious and annoyed Mandana removes her belt and mike and throws it away mentioning that she is always on everyone’s radar in the house. Adamant about not losing the luxury budget at Mandana’s cost, housemates appeal to Bigg Boss to convince Mandana to follow the rules. The never ending drama, fights and a boatload of backbiting takes a toll on Mandana and she falls ill to an extent that she is put on saline under doctor’s supervision. Looking at Mandana’s situation, vulnerable Rochelle breaks down and prays for her recovery. To everyone’s relief, Bigg Boss announces end of the task as the action-packed day comes to an end. A little too much or a little too less, but the Bigg Boss house will never be sans drama. After an eventful day who will be declared as the ultimate winners- zamindaars or workers?

S9 E12 • Day 011 Divide and rule is the new double trouble on Bigg Boss!

With the song Meri Marzi waking the house mates out of deep and much needed slumber, it set the mood to own their freedom in the house for the day. Taking the wake up song seriously, Yuvika asks Rimi if they should work at all. Lazily conversing, Rimi wonders out loud the consequences if Suyyash and Prince ever become captains. Pretending to check on Mandana who is asleep on the bed, Prince hugs Mandana – making her visibly uncomfortable. Throwing yet another decision-making exercise at the contestants, Bigg Boss asks the worker team to come to a consensus about one Jodi who was instrumental in their loss. At this point, a clear rift between the two trios – Mandana-Keith-Rochelle and Prince-Suyyash-Kishwer is conspicuous. Neither of the sides is willing to reveal the name of the worst performers. Majority of the house agrees that Keith and Mandana did not perform well blaming Mandana for having thrown her belt and mike aside. Rochelle immediately jumps to Keith and Mandana’s defence saying that Keith indeed did most of the work. This comment aggravates Prince and Suyyash and they begin justifying themselves, claiming that they did most of the work through the night. Blaming Rochelle and Rimi for having wasted two hours in getting ready during the course of the task, Suyyash points a finger at the duo. Rochelle, irritated with Vikas for having ignored her inputs during the task, also gets agitated. After the temperature of the house cools down, Kishwer is seen discussing with Suyyash and Prince that Rochelle’s over-protectiveness for Keith will backfire on her. Rimi separately explains to Rochelle the same logic outside. She suggests Rochelle to keep a cool mind and not hyperventilate when it comes to Keith because it could reflect badly on her. Later, Bigg Boss announces that since Aman and Kishwer have won the Lagaan task, they will now compete for captaincy. A game of tug-of-war will decide the captains. The housemates will be divided into Team Kishwer and Team Aman and they get the liberty to pick sides. While Suyyash-Prince, Rochelle-Rimi, Vikas-Yuvika choose Kishwer’s side, Arvind, Keith and Digangana-Roopal root for Aman. Mandana is asked to supervise the game and is given the onus to announce the captain based on her fair decision. Mandana reveals to Keith that she would have liked to see Aman as the captain. Keith agrees saying that Aman is good at decision-making. When Rochelle says that she chose Kishwer because of Rimi, Mandana says it was a good thing because they must keep their enemies close. While the luxury budget for the week dictates that Aman and Kishwer will be the only rightful owners to the luxurious items, they play it smart and decide upon items which can be sustained for over a week. In this way, their housemates will also benefit from the win. The day closes with Mandana crying over feeling cornered and the rest of the housemates consoling her. The drama has only just begun…
