The documentary following Salford City FC returns, as the semi-professional football club owned by former Manchester United stars Ryan Giggs, Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt try to win back-to-back promotions. The squad begin their first-ever season in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, three levels below league football and six steps below the Premier League, but it soon becomes clear that life in a higher tier might not be a fairytale story, despite a thrilling run in the FA Cup

Salford City FC continue their quest for promotion from the Northern Premier League Premier Division during the 2015/16 season, with the managers attempting to reverse a poor run of form following an ill-fated trip to Ilkeston, that seemingly leaves their hopes in tatters. Meanwhile, two of the clubs famous owners - Gary and Phil Neville - are experiencing a touch time of their own at Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia, where Phil is working as a coach, and Gary is appointed as manager midway through the campaign
