De Kat takes on environmental pollution en pays Oskar Diaz a visit, the owner of the Vinex factory. De Kat is convinced the factories are in dire need of filtration and purification equipment.

His niece Andrea sympathises with environmental protection cause but isn't able to stand up to her uncle due to the fact that he is helping her clearing an outstanding debt on the family estate Belmont.
