Jiminy Cricket quits his job as Pinocchio's conscience after the jealous Pain and Panic separate Pinocchio from Jiminy. When Mickey says he'll do anything to help, the Blue Fairy makes Jiminy his conscience, much to his annoyance. It becomes obvious that Jiminy is making Mickey like Pinocchio when he makes him dress like the little puppet and even Mickey' nose grows when he lies. Mickey quickly realizes that Pinocchio and Jiminy must stay together and has to figure out how to do it, mostly because Jimnmy is ruining his image.
