After escaping the Puente Grande Penitentiary, Joaquín Guzmán Loera asks ‘Chito’ to turn himself in to the police and declare that only he helped him break out in a laundry cart. 'El Chapo' and 'Don Sol' agree to finish off the Avendaño Brothers.

S2 E3 • Episode 3

Joaquín Guzmán Loera escapes the GAFES’s arrest and later convinces them of working with him. 'El Chapo' organizes 'La Federación' with the ultimate leaders of drug trafficking after the Avendaños's fall.

S2 E4 • Episode 4

Joaquín Guzmán Loera set up a trap for Raciel Cárdenas in order to take over Nuevo Laredo after the arrest. 'El Chapo' and 'La Federación' started a war against 'El Cano' and the bloodthirsty army of 'Los Emes'.

S2 E5 • Episode 5

Joaquín Guzmán Loera heads to the funeral of his brother, 'El Pollo', murdered by 'Chente' and Raciel. 'El Cano' invades 'La Federación's territory to kill 'El Chapo's men.

S2 E6 • Episode 6

Joaquín Guzmán Loera orders 'Don Sol' to avoid Andrés Labrador from becoming president of Mexico; he fears their business would be incompatible. Conrado schemes a fraud to make Felipe Alarcón the new Mexican ruler.

Joaquín Guzmán Loera is the leader of a drug war sponsored by Felipe Alarcón and 'Don Sol' against 'El Cano', 'Los Emes' and 'Chente'. 'El Chapo' bribes the jury of a beauty pageant in order to make Elba Coronado the queen.

S2 E8 • Episode 8

Joaquín Guzmán Loera promises 'Don Sol' he can end the failed Drug War and bring peace to the country. Thousands of innocents suffer the consequences of the conflict between 'La Federación', 'Los Emes' and 'Chente'.

S2 E9 • Episode 9

Arturo Bernal Leyda acts as peacemaker between Joaquín Guzmán Loera and 'El Cano' and 'Chente'. 'El Chapo' betrays the two fundamental partners of 'La Federación' to get one of his sons out of jail.

S2 E10 • Episode 10

Joaquín Guzmán Loera orders the hunt of Arturo Bernal Leyda, who attacks him in his territory of Sinaloa with the help of 'El Cano' and 'Chente'. Nazario Moreno walks out of 'La Federación' after 'El Chapo's new war.

S2 E11 • Episode 11

Pain gets hold of Joaquín Guzmán Loera after the murder of his son, 'El Moreno', so he leaves Ismael in charge of the war. 'Don Sol' fears that 'El Cano', 'Chente' and Arturo Bernal Leyda might use 'El Chapo's weakness in their favor.

Joaquín Guzmán Loera talks 'La Muñeca' and 'Tony Tormenta' into working with him against Arturo Bernal Leyda and 'El Cano'. 'Don Sol' is seen as Mexican president.
