Señor Barriga (Edgar Vivar) evicts Don Ramón off the vecindad for not paying the rent, but Don Ramón has the money and doesn't remember where it is. He asks the kids for help, but they create lots of confusion.
S1 E5 • Quieren Ensuciar a Quico
El Chavo and Chilindrina are trying to soil Quico's clothes with flour. It is very obvious in this sketch that the character of Sr. Barriga is fairly new since the Chilindrina does not know who he is. She tells her Dad "A fat man is looking for you..." and then asks, "What do you want sir?" and he replies: "I come to collect the rent." Which in my opinion is an indication that this is his first appearance. At that time the character had no name yet.
S1 E6 • Los Globos: No Te Vayas Chavo
This sketch could be confused with "Los Favors and Los Globos" ('74) since they begin exactly the same way, with Don Ramón (or the teacher in version from '77) helping Doña Cleotilde with the basket and then talking about the importance of favors. HOWEVER most of the episode is Chavo bursting balloons with a cigarette and then wanting to leave the neighborhood to avoid problems. The balloon vendor is played by Jose Antonio Mena who also played "The Pickpocket" in 1974. Rerecorded in 1976. Quico and Chilindrina are buying various Balloons, then, El Chavo keeps popping all balloons, and after much confusion, El Chavo decides to leave the vecindad, but the neighbors ask him to not to go.
S1 E7 • La Nueva Vecina (1)
A beautiful woman is seeking for an apartment in the vecindad and Don Ramón falls in love for her. Other than that two other women with whom Don Ramón wants nothing to do plan to visit, each with a different purpose. The children help Don Ramón to divert those 2 other women (Florinda and Cleotilde) In this sketch Don Ramon says he lives in # 7
Première diffusion : 4 avril 1972
S1 E8 • Los Carpinteros
Don Ramón is trying to saw a wooden plank, but the kids keep disturbing him, Señor Barriga comes to collect the rent, and, after being hit various times by the hammer, he finally receives the payment of the rent from Don Ramón. In this sketch Chavo wears a Chapulin Colorado shirt and at the bottom it has the logo of the famous Canal 8.
S1 E9 • La Nueva Vecina: Los Desmayados (3)
Everytime that El Chavo and Quico are kissed by Paty, they faint, and the only way to wake them is with buckets of cold water, but the kids create lots of confusion with the buckets.
S1 E10 • Ramoncito
Lost Episode. It is possible that this sketch has never been transmitted as part of "Chavo del 8" but the program Chespirito (1972). Rerecorded in 1974, and 1977 El Chavo has found an abandoned dog, alongside La Chilindrina and Quico, they bathe the dog, but the dog have disappeared and the kids believe that Doña Cleotilde turned the dog into a watering can. (Summary based in the later 1974 and 1977 versions)
S1 E11 • Jugando a La Guerra de Independencia
Also known as "Los Instrumentos Musicales" It is possible that this sketch has never been transmitted as part of "Chavo del 8" but the program Chespirito (1972). Rerecorded in 1975 and 1978 (2 parts). Probably was transmitted in 1991 by Brazilian channel SBT. The existence of the sketch was confirmed in 06/23/2012 with the TV magazine Tele-Guía number 1.050, this means that SBT is the only known channel to have this sketch. There is a photo of the episode on the Internet, where Doña Florinda is with her arm raised, to slap Don Ramón. Remade in 1975 and 1978. Señor Barriga tries to say something important to Don Ramón, but the kids keep interrupting the conversation with their musical instruments. (Summary based in the later 1975 and 1978 versions)
