Martha and Jimmy do a skit about an old married couple. Buddy dances on to "Make Mine Country Style". The three of them act in a riverboat comedy sketch and sing "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans." Bobby sings The Straight Life" and "Mighty Mississippi Line".

Jimmy Durante opens proceedings singing "Rock-A-Bye-Baby" in a baby carriage, and the Lennons deliver "Windmills of Your Mind and "Going Out Of My Head." Danny's special number is "Dionne" for his new granddaughter. Jimmie solos to "This Is All I Ask". Danny joins Durante for a skit about explorers Lewis and Clark. Jimmie Rodgers and Dianne Lennon duet on "Today". A tribute to Seattle segment. The Lennon Sisters feature such numbers as "A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening". The closing medley is a series o£ "Apple" songs, running the gamut from "Apple Blossom Time" to "Little Green Apples.

Opening with a Lennon Sister reading a composition on Thanksgiving which Jimmy starts to take apart. His version of what really happens is a running story that makes up the program. It features Louis Nye in three different roles from ship's captain to a conniving Indian. Kate Smith as Jimmy's love interest and Rosey Grier, along with the Lennons, as Pilgrims. The program is interspersed with songs like "Pass the Peace Pipe," "Count Your Blessings". Kate Smith closes with "America, the Beautiful".

In a skit Jimmy is Ponce De Leon with Milton Berle looking for the Fountain of Youth. Jo Ann Castle, longtime friends of the Lennon Sisters in her first appearance since leaving the Lawrence Welk Show. Milton Berle asks the quartet to help him recreate one of his early show biz acts, "Milton Berle and His Dancing Dollies," Singer-composer John Stewart is also on hand. Miami is the city being saluted, though with not quite the reverence Gleason gives it.

The Lennon Sisters perform, "In the Still of the Night", "Ain't We Got Fun?", "Love is a Very Light Thing" and "Washington Square Dance". Jimmy and the Lennon Sisters perform, "Doodle-ee-Doo". Al Martino sings, "Jean". Eddie Jackson sings, "Bill Bailey, Won't You Please Come Home?". Sonny and Jimmy sing, "Hey, Look Me Over" and "I Love Ya, Love Ya". Al Martino and the Lennon Sisters sing, "Try to Remember". Sonny sings, "Ragtime Jimmy". And all join in for "This Is A Great Country".
