S1 E1 • Monster Pervert and Rookie Lawyer

Ko Tae Rim, a lawyer with a 100-percent win rate, wins another unwinnable case. He is expensive to hire but guarantees the client’s acquittal. Seo Jae In, a rookie lawyer who believes justice over money, is struggling to be successful due to the controversy around her. They meet by coincidence and start to run into trouble no one ever expects.

Jae In is desperate to get Tae Rim to work on her friend’s case because no one else is willing to. Due to this loss, he is in a state of confusion.

But Tae Rim does his absolute best to help his client to fulfill his duty as an attorney.

Jae In lost her case due to her client dropping the case, but Gi Seok finds out that Jae In would have won the case if her client continued. Even though Jae In expected to be fired and yelled at by Tae Rim, she gets a warm consolation from Tae Rim. After her loss, she decides to give her best to learn from Tae Rim to be a better lawyer. Their next case involves song artists whose song got plagiarized.

While going to Tae Rim’s office, Jae In is attacked by the mysterious man with the scorpion tattoo. After hearing the news of Jae In getting attacked, her acquaintances rush over to the hospital to see if she is okay. Gi Seok, who has a crush on Jae In, is devastated by this news. While drunk, Gi Seok and Sang Goo make the oath of rose to help each other with their love interests. Meanwhile, Tae Rim, blinded by his greed, takes on a case that may take him down for good.

Se Joong tells Jae In there is a reason which he can't give the full details on, that Tae Rim mustn't get involved with the assault case between the two neighbours, which happens to be the prosecution and the court, and asks her to lead the case. Jae In sees this as her chance to escape from Tae Rim's mockery and is determine to win. Meanwhile, Gi Seok finds out the real reason why Tae Rim settled the copyright case instead of using the contract in court.

After causing such controversy in court, Tae Rim loses all of his clients. To return the deposits his clients had given him, he sells off his assets. Even with his reputation damaged, he gets a 14-year-old actress, Yoo Ha Rin, as his client. Ha Rin claims that her mother psychologically abuses her and wishes to cut ties with her mother once and for all. Meanwhile, B and G Law Firm is celebrating Tae Rim’s misfortune and getting back the clients they had lost to Tae Rim.

S1 E11 • Fighting Against an Old Client

Tae Rim still lacks clients, but he gets a client whom he defended while working at B&G Law Firm. Sung Gi Jun, a CEO of Hankang, is notorious for being rude and unruly, wishes to hire Tae Rim for a case. Despite his love for money, Tae Rim refuses to work for him because of their past. In a series of odd events, Yang Koo is in charge of representing Gi Jun with help from Gi Seok. Tae Rim and Jae In, on the other hand, represents the opposition in Gi Jun’s case.

S1 E12 • The Witch of the Century

While packing things at the office, Jae In finds a document Tae Rim worked on before. The case is about a leak by a chemical company that made the nearby residents sick. One of the victims of the unfortunate incident is Yoo Ra. Meanwhile, Tae Rim and Jae In accept a new client who is known as the witch of the century. Yoon Do Hee is accused of poisoning her boyfriend and has been sentenced to death in the first trial. Gi Seok, after a series of fights against Tae Rim, realises working for a law firm is not his style and resigns from B and G Law Firm.

S1 E13 • Tae Rim's First Loss

With fabricated evidence and witnesses, the prosecution has the upper hand. Tae Rim still has not given up and is trying his best to get his client acquitted. His plan, however, gets ruined when his client goes against Tae Rim’s instructions and confesses to the court of her alleged crime. With this, the court rules in favour of the prosecution and Tae Rim faces his first loss. Now, in order to protect his record, he must take this case to the Supreme Court.

Even though Tae Rim overturns the case at the Supreme Court, his client decides to fire him. Although it is just a suspicion, Tae Rim and Jae In suspect Gi Seok has convinced Do Hee. Tae Rim plans to reveal Do Hee’s truth, so she has no option but to hire Tae Rim back. In order to win, Jae In must make a hard decision.
