S1 E1 • Jaime Lannister's Sword (Game of Thrones)
In our Premiere Episode, Tony builds Jaime Lannister's sword from "Game of Thrones." This blade will be crafted from scratch, with a hilt forged from molten bronze, and then taken outside for an epic battle against a windshield. NOTE: Tony Swatton and Man At Arms have no involvement with or connection to the producers, weapon-makers, or production of the Game of Thrones TV series. Oathkeeper is a Valyrian steel longsword which is forged by Tobho Mott from Eddard Stark's greatsword, Ice, along with the smaller blade, Widow's Wail. It has black and red ripples through the steel. Its scabbard glitters gold and is decorated with a row of lion's heads and smoldering red rubies. The pommel has a golden lion's head with ruby eyes that shine like two red stars.

One is used for blocks and trapping weapons, while the other is used for striking, mostly with the knuckle.

This shield is composed of a unique alloy of Vibranium, steel, and an unknown third component. It is virtually indestructible. It is as much an offensive weapon as a defensive one for Captain America. Cap uses it against his enemies, mainly, by throwing it at them and can perform mindbogglingly impossible tricks with it.

S1 E10 • Gimli's Bearded Axe (Lord of the Rings)
A bearded axe, or Skeggöx (from Old Norse Skegg, beard + öx, axe) refers to various axes, used as a tool and weapon, as early as the 6th century AD. It is most commonly associated with Viking Age Scandinavians. The lower portion of an axe bit is called the "beard" and the cutting edge of the bearded axe extends below the width of the butt to provide a wide cutting surface while keeping the overall weight of the axe low. The hook, or "beard" of the axe would have also been useful in battle, to hook onto things, such as shields or weapons, to pull them out of the defender's grasp.

S1 E14 • Orcish Battleaxe (Skyrim)
The Orcish Battleaxe really sets the tone for the crude craftsmanship that is a corner stone of all Orc equipment. A one sided massive axe blade, made entirely of metal, sits atop of a long handle that is wrapped all the way up in a crosshatch manner with leather strips. At the bottom of the handle seems to be a stone strapped to the weapon to serve as a counter weight, reinforcing my earlier point.

When not in combat, the cloth extends to cover the rest of the sword and falls away when necessary, shrinking back to a manageable size.
