S2 E1 • Off Grid in Idaho

Sales manager, Peter, and his wife, Aubrey, a stay at home mom, from Pasco, Washington, want to create a different future for their two children. Pete's hectic work life is keeping him away from home and family and technology is invading the girls' lives. Both Pete and Aubrey want their children to grow up experiencing a childhood full of adventure, nature and practical skills. After viewing three properties in remote locations they decide which one they want to stay in and test out. But after their time unplugged will they decide to move the family off-the-grid or not?

S2 E3 • California Mountain Retreat

The Johnson family are packing their bags and leaving the sunshine of Carolina beach for the mountains of northern California to see if they've got what it takes to live off-the-grid. Can this blended family of three teenage girls and an eight-year-old boy work together to fulfil their parents dream? Or will life unplugged be too much? After viewing three off-the-grid homes, the Johnsons will pick one to live in and test out. The family will hunt for turkey, work on a farm, nurse a sick pig and have to live with no electronics. After four days unplugged will they go running back to Carolina or make a permanent off-the-grid move?

The Jones family from Georgia want to move to Arizona and become self sufficient. They view three off-the-grid properties and have to choose one to stay in and test out. Sheri, hopes that her husband, Mark will embrace the unplugged life and spend more time with the family. But their teenage kids, Alexi and Aspen, aren't convinced. Will they decide to stay unplugged or plug back in?
