S1 E1 • Young Goon Fires His Gun

Do Chi Gwang comes across a case that involves a traffic officer shooting a suspect. At first, he was not interested but later finds out that the traffic officer, Kim Young Goon, is related to Jang Hae Ryong. Chi Gwang believes Hae Ryong is corrupt and needs to be arrested for his corruption.

S1 E2 • Searching for the Kidnapped Child

Chi Gwang and Young Goon find out that Son Byung Gil has kidnapped Chairman Kim’s child through Han Tae Joo. Now, they are trying to find the child before it is too late. Tae Joo, however, seems suspicious, and Chi Gwang starts to suspect her. Meanwhile, Hae Ryong is scheming up something behind everyone's backs.

After successfully rescuing a child and showing the potential corruption within the police force, the Corruption Investigation Team is established. The team’s first case involves an organ donor that asked Tae Joo for help saying she may die after donating her kidney. The case turns out to be much more complicated and dangerous than it looks.

The Corruption Investigation Team finds out Prosecutor Lee is working together with a group of organ traffickers. Thus, they dig deeper into it and tries to arrest those involved, but they must tread carefully for the investigation can cause trouble for the police force and lose the criminals. Despite his ill feelings, Chi Gwang asks Hae Ryong for help.

S1 E5 • Bribery Ledger

The organ trafficking case ends bittersweet as Prosecutor Lee dies and Chi Gwang hands over the case to Hae Ryong. All of a sudden, Kim Jae Myung asks his son, Young Goon, to visit. During their reunion in prison, Jae Myung gives Young Goon a tip for a new case regarding a company’s bribery ledger.

S1 E6 • The Favorable Side

Tae Joo goes against Chi Gwang’s plan and helps the chairman of Muil to get a favor. As soon as the chairman doesn’t give what she demanded, she takes the more favorable side. While Si Young goes to the hospital to check if Sang Do is dead, he falls for Chi Gwang’s trap and gets arrested.

S1 E7 • 6 Bodies without Thumbs

Six bodies are found at a park. All of them were buried with their thumbs cut off except for one body. Although the bodies have been decomposed, Chi Gwang manages to identify the bodies and the investigation gains its momentum. Meanwhile, Young Goon decides to join the parole committee to decide whether he agrees to Kim Jae Myung’s release on parole.

Young Goon and Jae Myung begin to live in the same house. Young Goon starts to get confused if he has really seen Jae Myung in the house on the day his mother was murdered. Young Goon receives a call from Park Si Young who demands money for the information Young Goon wants to know.

Young Goon holds the funeral for his father. The police, Tae Joo and Young Goon keep looking for the ledger that Jae Myung kept. Then, Young Goon receives a phone call from Baek Song Yi. She says that Jae Myung gave her something, and now she wants to return it to Young Goon.

S1 E10 • Jo Soo Yeon's Secret

Young Goon believes that a cleaning service company is deeply involved in the Baek Song Yi case and investigate them. He finds out that the company has a connection to corrupt police officers including Jang Hae Ryong. Young Goon also finds out a secret that Jo Soo Yeon has been keeping all this time.
