Jake and Joel Moss take backyard gardening to a new level in this farm to table inspired backyard. Vertical planters made from recycled pallets explode with fresh herbs that provide the perfect compliment to this cooks' paradise. A custom dining table made from reclaimed wood looks out on a sea of raised industrial planter beds housing everything from insect repelling flowers to fresh fruits and vegetables to create a truly sustainable living space.

Jake and Joel Moss turn a massive blank slate of a yard into an outdoor lounge inspired by the homeowners' love for wine and entertainment. Three wine bottle walls provide the perfect amount of privacy to enjoy the terraced BBQ station and wine bar. A contemporary fire bowl sits atop a patio of pavers interwoven with artificial turf to lend to the modern feel. Modular planters, ample seating, and rustic landscaping bring a taste of wine country to this backyard.

Jake sees bathtubs, Joel sees plants. Doug sees a pergola that looks like France. A yard that begins as nothing but dirt and damaged flagstone is completely transformed with an eco-friendly deck covered by a pergola wrapped in carved pilasters, a travertine firebox, rustic stenciled pews and a large sandblasted dining table illuminated by a blingy chandelier. Dog-friendly synthetic turf lends a pop of color to the scene, while the claw foot tub water feature set atop the repurposed pavers provides a perfect splash of serenity.

Metal walls act as privacy screens for the custom built benches that surround a bright, new fire feature. Light towers and lush landscaping lead the way to an inviting spa that rounds out this modern relaxation zone.

Yardcore goes lakeside to get the Blog Cabin party started the second guests step off the boat. They'll turn a blase boardwalk and boat dock into an upscale club setting that boasts cantilevered platforms studded with flowy native palms, a custom bar island faced with plantation style shutters set on top of locally raised cypress stumps, a second floor open deck with statuesque Ipe railing and hand built adirondack lounge chairs, and floating hammocks set over a party platform that sports a big screen television.

Landscape designers Jake and Joel Moss use a peacock theme to bring some wild life to this backyard. A metal feather-plumed kegerator bar and a massive stylized peacock pergola create a striking focal point. A new lawn area surrounded by a lush border of colorful shrubs and flowers combined with a metal fire pit creates a relaxing ground-level party spot.

The Moss Brothers take inspiration from the homeowners Pacific Island heritage and completely transform this backyard. A custom redwood deck looks out onto a traditional Hapa shade structure featuring meticulous carved posts that sit on a scored concrete patio. A unique privacy walls features art panels inspired by tribal warriors. A redwood bench wrapped around an existing tree and drought tolerant native landscaping finishes off the yard.

Jake and Joel clue in on the homeowners love of all things travel to bring some international intrigue into this bland backyard. This Mid-Century Modern design starts with a retro style lounge topped by a stunning, gold-metal sunburst pergola. Supporting the pergola is a huge lodge-pole ringed with jack-leg chairs and an antiqued old-world map table. A brick patio, custom benches, a custom art wall, and a one-of-a kind steel globe fire feature finish off the yard.

Two art professionals who've created a masterpiece on the interior of their home will turn their backyard over to The Moss Brothers for a complete overhaul. The crew cranks out all kinds of geometric shapes to bring an artsy cubist feel to the space. The scene includes sculptural monolithic walls that frame in a three-sided bench faced in copper. A flagstone patio outlined in moss plantings becomes home to three cubist water features with reclaimed seat surrounds, while the entire picture is enclosed with unique minimalist plantings that add to the drama of the stunning setting.
