first sight. as good as the previous album, though more grandiloquent, emphatic, theatrical and dark. here and there turgid prog and a bit annoying and mannered vocals. as for the comedy music hall sequence, vocally finer than the one featured on prior album. i’m fond of most musics, beside that seemingly clever, intellect-wise, ethics, philosophical intelligence, lyrical content. music and lyrics ahead of their time, forward thinking. thatcher era, scourge policy, government, imperialistic...
