Synopsis : Experimental Filmmaker Myron Ort sees vintage home movies as a form of American folk cinema. Kodak sold cameras and film and created a business which consumed families across the country. We are glad to be able to get this glimpse of history which is now transfomed by the passage of time. Recontextualized now to be seen in our much larger family album. Ohio family circa 1927-1930 or so. Doesn't look like these folks missed any rice and beans. Judging from a couple of the cars toward the end, the film seems to span almost to 1933-34.
