États-UnisAt once charming and disconcerting, Jennifer, Where Are You? depicts a young girl as she sloppily applies lipstick to her face while an unseen male figure calls out her name in search of her. The film, although punctuated at 30-second intervals by the relentless repetition of "Jennifer, where are you?", creates its suspense via disturbances of silence: footage of the girl (perhaps Jennifer), is intercut with black leader, over-exposed bursts of light, and meditative shots of domestic spaces...
