Persephone

Synopsis : Jeffrey Morris wrote the script and will direct the film, which is set in the late 22nd century. It hinges on three astronauts from Colony One, a giant ship transporting 20,000 colonists from a dying Earth to a planet orbiting Alpha Centauri, Proxima B (AKA Persephone). It's a seemingly lifeless mass double the size of Earth with double the gravity. Hildebrand plays Darcy Webb, a shuttle pilot for the colony ship who was born during the 50-year journey from Earth to Persephone. During a critical mission for survival, she goes head-to-head with engineer Tanya Baxter (Mary-Louise Parker) about the right course of action, and soon they learn they may not actually be alone on their new home planet.
