Artsy, too artsy?

It was hard to me to get into this movie, the over-use of autotune in songs and the overwhelming desire of the movie to look good and artsy made it difficult for me to get attached. By over artsy I mean esthetic choices, framing and philosophical and odd cryptic conversations.

But bit by bit I warmed up to the two main characters and slowly fell in love with them, suffered with them and felt joy for them.

Also really good animations included
