The Last Days of Peter Bergmann
The Last Days of Peter Bergmann

Court-métrage documentaire de Ciaran Cassidy (2013)

This documentary is quite short and to the point, but very well done. I first heard about "Peter Bergmann" on the Thinking Sideways radio show, and was pointed in the direction of this short film.

This is a mind puzzling mystery. It is impressive what the Sligo authorities did to find the identity of this man, but with no luck. Being an avid Unsolved Mystery enthusiast, I rarely am emotionally affected by these stories, but this one leaves you choking back tears. Something about the way he walks and hangs his head. There is a definite sadness that looms around him.

The purple bag will really leave you wondering. It is nice to think perhaps he was depositing money to some sort of charity and doing good in his last days, but we will probably never know.

There is not much more to say. Have a look at the documentary for yourself and be the judge of what happened to "Peter Bergmann".
