Marcin LatalloSynopsis : "A documentary about my father, Stanisław Latałło, known for playing the lead part in "Illumination" by Krzysztof Zanussi. But he really wanted to be a director (his short fims, which how now achieved cult status, can be found on my channel "My father's films"). He worked as a director of photography, among others with Tadeusz Konwicki on "So far, so close", then became a cult figure for playing the main character in "Illumination" which won the Locarno Golden Leopard. He then accompanied the Polish Himalaya Expedition to Mount Lhotse in 1974, as a cameraman, and died there. He was 29, I was 7 years old. This film is a very personal reflection about him and his fate, with the participation of our family and close friends, and well-known figures of Polish Cinema such as Agnieszka Holland, Krzysztofa Zanussi, Tadeusz Konwicki, told by in the first person perspective by me, his son."
