Résumé : Wrong, Dennis Cooper?s first collection of stories, written over a period of ten years, centres on a homosexual rapist and sadistic murderer called Ray, who preys on the teenage boys who flock round a Los Angeles high school. The characters drift from one story into another, much the way in which people drift from clique to clique, or experience to experience in real life. The collection showcases the themes that are central to Dennis Cooper?s writing ? death, abusive relationships and the difficulty of finding language to convey extreme emotions.
