Livre de Willard Huntington Wright et S.S. Van Dine · 1917 (États-Unis)

Genre : Essai
Toutes les informations

The main thrust of the author's argument is that England has an undue influence on American culture and endeavour and feels freely able to disparage and ridicule it. This, he says, is done deliberately and sometimes venomously. Part of the problem for America is that they have to speak English, as this is the language of the first colonists. This makes it harder for them to interact with Europe. In addition, England has influenced America through all media possible.
