Gal Hee greets the morning next day feeling very nervous. She tries to act normal, but notices how droopy and sad Director Do is after the break up. She follows him around the day and eventually feeds him a home-cooked meal made by herself. Meanwhile, Veronica Park and Dae Ju are stuck with each other. It’s all thanks to Veronica’s mistake in cuffing their wrists together by accident.

S1 E18 • I See Faces, Again

Gal Hee finds a box cutter at her house and takes it to the police. They’re getting closer to finding the culprit who seems to be deeply involved with the USB from Dae Ju’s office. Due to Director Park’s mother’s death, Gal Hee and Min Ik head to the funeral ceremony. After changing his clothes and sharing a brief moment of holding Gal Hee in his arms, Director Do’s blood pressure soars. And he starts seeing people’s faces again.

Min Ik tells Gal Hee that he met an imposter of Veronica Park. Flustered at Min Ik’s encounter with the real Veronica, Gal Hee tries her best to get him out of the funeral hall. However, she ends up meeting Veronica Park and confess the truth of what’s been going on between herself and Min Ik.

Min Ik is confused whether he’s in love with Gal Hee or Veronica Park. He shares his honest dilemma between the two women to Dae Ju. Dae Ju is shocked to know how Veronica has been meeting Min Ik at the same time as him, and demands Min Ik to make a decision.

Director Do seriously can’t make a decision. He likes both Veronica Park and Secretary Jeong. Feeling disgusted and frustrated he tries getting a CT scan. He then tells Secretary Jeong to take a couple days off to find out who he likes. However, the more he tries, the more it seems hard for him to let go of either women.

Secretary Jeong goes on with her punishment from Veronica Park, she acts as Veronica Park in front of Director Do. The two decide to go on a date night to a concert and Director Do is just as confused about his heart still. On the date night day, it hits Gal Hee that she doesn’t want Director Do to fall in love someone else than her.

Min Ik tells Gal Hee what made him decide to choose Gal Hee over Veronica Park. Even though hearing him say it made her happy, the guilt weighs down on her mind. Meanwhile, Dae Ju finds it hard to stay in an awkward relationship with Veronica. Clearly, seeing how she came to see him, she has feelings for him, so he demands an answer.

Gal Hee decides to confess everything to Min Ik and starts writing a letter. Meanwhile, Veronica happens to meet with Min Ik before he hears anything from either Veronicas, which makes Min Ik resent his illness more than ever.
