After seeing Bob off on his honeymoon he arrives back at the house and tries to date Thelma's sister Susan

Terry is becoming attracted to Susan but her mother disapproves Later Susan flies back to Canada While Terry bounces back by dating a stewardess he met at the airport

Bob lends Terry some money to go to a job interview but he uses it to bet on the horses and wins Later Bob and Thelma meet him at an expensive night club with Terry flashing all his winnings Then when he has lost again Terry comes back to Bob hoping for another loan

Bob and Thelma go out for dinner and on the way back Bob is arrested for drunk driving At the police station he meets up with Terry who has ben arrested at a football match With Bob running the risk of losing his license They agree to swap blood samples

The boys try and relive their youth by trying to cycle north to Berwick as they used to do when they were kids They give up half way and have trouble finding away back home

Bob and Thelma go away for the week-end and they let Terry the keys in order to finish off some odd jobs He has taken up the bedroom floorboards when a neighbor asks him for a helping hand While he is away Bob and Thelma come home and Bob ends up falling through the ceiling and breaking his leg and giving Thelma concussion

Terry gets a job as a hospital porter after being told off by Bob for scrounging off the state When Bob turns up with his broken leg Terry has to think quickly to avoid being recognized

The boys go on a fishing trip but run into Thelma's father who is staying at the hotel with his secretary Then unexpectedly Thelma shows up and thinks that Bob is the one having an affair with the secretary

At the end of the fishing trip Thelma is convinced that Bob is having an affair and walks out on him Unbelievably he goes to Terry for advice

With Thelma away Terry moves in and keeps house for Bob but things don't go as planned

The boys have a row and Terry walks out and goes to see Thelma in order for her to patch things up with Bob She relents and goes back home only to find Bob with his head in the oven cleaning it but she gets the wrong idea

Terry is charged with disturbing the peace after a fight and is fined He accuses Bob of being absent when the fight broke out Later when Bob tries to be a peacemaker he also gets into trouble and is fined by the same magistrate When the boys are talking over the incident in the local they row in front of the same magistrate and are both in trouble

S2 E13 • The Shape of Things to Come

Terry's uncle Jacob has passed on and it turns out that he was a holy terror They go to the funeral and Terry accidently sends the coffin on it's way to the furnace Back home when Bob learns more about Jacob from his friend Joe he comes to the conclusion that Jacob and Joe are a carbon copy's of Bob and Terry 30 years on

S2 E14 • A Special Christmas Edition

While Bob and Thelma are out Christmas shopping in September they come across Terry learning to drive He is hoping to find a job, that comes with a car, but has no luck. On Christmas Eve Bob and Thelma have booked a cab to take them to a party but who should turn up driving the cab but Terry.
