Vu sur France 3, cinéma dimanche après-midi.
Fully embracing its excentric nature, the series grows weirder. To make things easier, most characters from the previous investigation are retained, the mystery at work being the direct consequence of the "yellow room case".
Still lacking in strong moments, still enjoyable on both of its ingredients awithout making you laugh out loud, still competent looking. Again, the novel probably provides most of the film's appeal.
Score: 6/10 (-1 if you don't think the balance change is a good idea, +1 if you thought the first film was too tame.)
Enjoyment: 3/5
I'm surprised the Podalydès didn't made another episode.
PS: Was it Cpt.Haddock's forefather on the portrait?
