This movie was the best of the three, and a reason enough to watch them all (or at least to watch this one instead of the TV show's last batch of episodes).
Despite the problematic allocation of time to the different segments, each one felt great and the resulting film felt more cohesive. The short calm period on Side-6 delivered some great moments (Lalah's first scene, Amuro/Char first real meeting and Mirai's reunion with his fiancé). The death of Dozle at Solomon was memorable (but I would have personally added a few minutes of family time about him) and the battle itself decent. Obviously, Ao Baoa Qu was the highest point of the story and that was very well rendered. It was at times thrilling, exciting or moving (I already read it and was simply revisiting it through the movie and yet it was very effective). Sadly, its nature of compilation prevents the existence of well-drawn links between a few scenes or sequences, particularly in the beginning of the movie.
The drawings and animations felt a good level above the previous films and the related TV episodes.
(Lalah Sune's voice was pretty good but I might be biased as a Saint Seiya lover.)
Score: 9/10
Enjoyment: 5/5
Trilogy: 8/10. (Suffers from a lack of link between some scenes, and of time for certain characters)
