Pitch : As Do Hoe burns the midnight oil on the last decisive months of his high school, a colorful tornado arrives at his home. A young man his own age with a mysterious past from Seou begins a Taekwondo apprenticeship with his father, a master of the art and the fervent advocate of corporal punishment.
Spoil:
Do persists in ignoring Sun and continuing his plan to escape his father's violence.
While everything pits them against each other, a truth they hide from each other will bring them together: the master's blows. Sun breaks through into Do's life with his natural incandescent fire. Their bodies are marked by the same wounds. Do reminds him that Sun's one is ‘perverse’ before giving in to Sun's physical insistence and his own desires.
The natural elements feature prominently in this rural Taekwondo gym setting. The rain forces them to share an umbrella, then it's the artificial snow that Sun makes for Do, who has never seen it, that will seal their story forever. The cold is just as biting until they agree to find warmth in each other.
