A fun sidestep from the full-on boxing pushing the limits of the sport even further for your biggest amazement, but this transitional part was really stretched out (for example Monster Jail's episodes, but really most of the encounters were). This was a good occasion for each teammate to develop his own "mortal blow" technique. Each duel tends to be a bit long, especially one, probably thanks to additions to the manga.
Slightly better made than the first season sometimes, looking worse at other times (especially the faces, even in the finale!). The music is still as serviceable as before and the seiyûs are good, it must have been a lot of fun to do Shaft and its compatriots with all their english. (Of course, I still have my problem with Ryûji : I cannot avoid to surimpress Furuya's voice on.)

Score: 6.5/10 A lack of Kikku doesn't benefit this chapter.
