Cry Matcho by Clint Eastwood
Although my political side is so different than Clint Eastwood, I love his movies. Again, he deals with one of his favorite theme: transmission between generations. Unfortunately, this one have many problems but, still, I liked it. Here, GrandPa Clint is a horse trainer who is fired by is boss. Thereafter, his boss asks him to find his son in mexico. The movie is filmed in a very serious way (in French, we would say "très premier degré") but somehow a lot of scenes are quirky and hilarious. Actually, at 90 years old, the guy needs to be retired, who will blame the boss? The best is when the hot mexican mom tried to get him in the bed and when he broke the horses (I believe it is how we say it... horses vocabulary is welcomed). I mean, he really looks like 90 years old, who can believe those scenes? He even punched a 30 years old guy... Actually, how I have taken those scenes ironically, It improved my experience of the movie. Maybe, it captures the state of mind of its movie maker who does not want to stop making films, even if it looks like living in fantaisies.
