Restauration vue sur ARTE, cycle Jean-Luc Godard.
A pretty straightforward modern transposition of the Holy Mother's story, a few points becoming quite funny through the transition, around wich certain people will probably love to build theories.
But primarily a film "honouring" the simple beauty of Myriem Roussel's face, and her whole body. (Along with a few shots of the beauty of Switzerland.)
The film looks great (maybe just a bit less than Godard's previous "return movie") of course, and the central couple (the Marie & Joseph of the movie) were both pretty good.
Score: ?/10
Enjoyment: 4/5
PS: no idea what's the reason for showing Le livre de Marie by Godard's wife before this film.
