Vu sur mk2 Curiosity, mois Krzysztof Kieslowski.
Interesting take on passion making its way in the life of a person, the film doesn't spare the audience both sides of the consequences.
The hero, being first a calm/sweet "regular man", will see his motivations and character constantly questioned through the movie (and his movies), as he slowly reveals to himself. A good thing is that the questions are left unanswered, letting the man escape judgement (except maybe from a too sensible audience).
And if that wasn't enough, you will find in this photography of central Europe in those times some bits about cinema, how politic and art can mesh together (or not), etc.
Score: 7/10
