Vu sur France 3 et ARTE, revu en salle dans le cadre des "Plans Cultes".
As excessive in its presentation, story, length and Pacino's acting as "required" by the theme and time period. Yet quite tame in term of De Palma-esque stuff. This cult film is still better than his now unanimously revered adaptation of The Untouchables.
Score: 7/10
Enjoyment: 4/5
It was good to see it on the big screen, but it was even better to watch it with a room filled 3/4 with people who had never seen it.
(Ignoring the impossible to translate quantity of "fuck", the french subtitles sounded often out of touch with the dialogues.)
