Shutter Island par Frenchy75008
I'm actually wondering myself why I even putted a star and a half... This movie is a Fraud... I'd like to know how many minutes of this movie have really been shot by Scorsese ?
This movies is a great example of what is wrong in the Hollywood industry nowadays, most of the movie screens are polluted by Franchises... And Scorsese has become one. To make sure the sheeps are going to pay their tickets, they use good old directors names, bankable actors, and we all run to see it.
So we can see a DiCaprio doing is squishy eye look meaning ; I'm not ok... (it is even on the poster). But it is as scary as when Little Big Man goes snake-eyed...
Add to that a editing that is so rushed that you cannot count all the continuity errors (in fact you can, there are 29, most of them are continuity issues : http://www.moviemistakes.com/film8399). Let's say that they respect the audience so much that it is not a big thing (but how much do like spelling mistakes when you read a book ?).
I will not be talking about the endless scene of people running (let's say it is related to the horror genre)...
So let say this star and a half is in fact for the scenario, but being that it is based out of a book, it don't think I should have credited the movie for that.
Don't waste your time, and surely not your money on this fraud.
