Film de Jessica Sharzer (2004)

I cannot bring myself to rate this higher than a 7. Probably because I read the book at 17yo and that it forever moved me. I had no clue a movie existed from the book. But I just had to watch it—it forever changed me.

It made me realise that I myself suffered from PTSD that was deeply repressed, from a similar event, and it brought me to seek help. The way my body felt while reading the book, I can still feel it sometimes when I think about it.

Kristen Stewart was THE perfect cast for Melinda. I think she portrayed the character as perfect as possible, and she made a strong impression.

I believe it is not as good as the book, because the book is one true piece of art, but it is still worth it, as it shows how one copes when they cannot speak about something that won’t come out.

What a banger

Is it really about fighting
