About one of the most interesting pieces of the Venice 2010 Architecture Biennale...
Aldo Cibic's RETHINKING HAPPINESS was one of the most interesting exhibitions displayed during the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale.
It presented actually 4 different projects : 1) "New communities, new polarities" (How a small center becomes a large center - The organization of the growth of a small town after the arrival of 1 000 employees from newly developed international corporate headquarters) ; 2) "A campus in the fields" (Project for a Venice agri-techno valley) ; 3) "Rural urbanism" (Where, some 100 km from Shanghai, the city enters the countryside, the countryside enters the city) ; 4) "Superbazar" (A place to live, meet, buy, sell, swap - on the outskirts of Milan).
The book is richly illustrated by photographs from the exhibition. Exciting ideas developed by passionate people !
