Revu sur France Télévisions, "Familles, mode d'emploi".
Personal story in big History movie, rather pretty looking, that works as a thriller with a dual progression (inflating the running time) of the present unearthing the past and the past itself, the latter seemingly filmed only to provide the mandatory strong scenes for the geopolitical situation the film exploits.
The big family reveal (that becomes increasingly clear) made me chuckle but that's probably a large part of what appealed to the audience, along the "important events" and "truths" Incendies uses.
Score: 7/10
Enjoyment: 3/5
(Nice to have Rémy Girard tag along the twins.)
