Revu sur ARTE.
A film that brilliantly shows an affair in a realistic way (despite a few tiny dramatic/romantic elements being added uselessly*). It's clearly Bibi Andersson's hour but Elliot Gould doesn't pale nor, of course, Bergman's regular Max von Sydow playing the spouse.
Among notable points, I can cite the gorgeously untarnished white bourgeois house of the couple and the scenes where the woman seems chained in her comfort routine of daily (obsessive?) chores.
Score: 7/10
Enjoyment: 4/5
Despite the less desirable points apparently damaging the film beyond repairs for most people, I had no problem.
