I think the part that touched me the most is the end. But not the end of the movie itself, but the credits. When we remember the real dates women finally conquered the right to vote. 1944 in France and 1932 in Brazil, the country where I am from. It's not even 100 years that we have equal rights in the society. Before the credits we watch a story of a mother, a wife and a effortful workwoman. Some scenes are corny and others are better, as when they try to expose their fight in name of this cause. But there is nothing new portrayed on the movie, it's the story most of us know: a main character fighting for its cause with a lot of sacrifice. And a little drama to make the audience cry. It's the hero saga in a feminist version. On the other hand there is a question that remains. A question we can't find in the history books: when the society takes everything from you (your rights, your kids, your work) you don't fear to sacrifice your life.
