Vu sur Chérie 25.
Watched AFTER its second chapter (the eventful part).
A typical set up that would ultimately lead to a decent but common dilemma (in the next part).
Maybe keeping all the theatre aspects (fixed theatre-like sets, actors declamations, series of dialogues with the occasion close-up on a face, etc) in a film conversion is a good idea, but Daniel Auteuil never makes it feel worth it. The young actors, Personaz first, are very good-looking and functional but not much else.
(Marseille has never been so orange.)
Score: 5/10
Enjoyment: 4/5 (I kept laughing during the 90mn, but I doubt it was thanks to the movie.)
What you would expect from a comedian taking a director and writing seat as a fancy. It's not even close to Berri's adaptation of The Water o the Hills, a complete absence of cinema itself.
